Applicants are required to hold a Level 8 bachelor's degree with a minimum 55-60% in the following areas: Early Childhood Education & Care, Applied Social Studies, Social & Community Studies, Youth & Community or a primary Level 8 degree in Social Sciences or cognate area.

Students have to pay the application fee of € 50 directly to the university.Applicants applying for entry via routes other than those listed in the Entry Requirement will be considered on a case-by-case basisand in accordance with IT Carlow’s Recognised Prior Learning (RPL) policy. Please note that all RPL applicants will be subject to interview.
