Applicants should normally have a primary degree with minimum 65% in sociology or social science, or a closely related discipline, such as psychology, philosophy, human geography, history, politics, and economics.

The MSc Comparative Social Change is a one­ year full time programme which is jointly delivered by the School of Sociology at UCD and Trinity’s Department of Sociology. A minimum score of 90 is required in the Internet based TOEFL (iBT) with no less than 21 in writing and at least 19 in every other section. DET score of 120 is required with at least 110 in each subscore.
