An honours undergraduate degree (NFQ level 8) with minimum 60-65% or international equivalence in civil engineering, other related engineering (such as chemical engineering, environmental engineering, agriculturial engineering), physical science or environmental related degree programme.

A minimum score of 90 is required in the Internet based TOEFL (iBT) with no less than 21 in writing and at least 19 in every other section. DET score of 120 is required with at least 110 in each subscore.
