Candidates with a strong foundation in basic physics, A minimum of an upper second-class honours (with 65%) or equivalent in Physics or a degree in an Engineering discipline with a coursework component equivalent to a minor in physics.

A minimum score of 90 is required in the Internet based TOEFL (iBT) with no less than 21 in writing and at least 19 in every other section. DET score of 120 is required with at least 110 in each subscore. Students with a strong physics background and lower second class honours degree may be accepted.
