Applicants should hold an appropriate primary degree (NFQ Level 8), with 65% honours or international equivalent required. Pre-requisites for the programme are; Clinical Human Anatomy, Applied Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, Exercise Science, Applied Physics, Chemistry-Biochemistry, Applied Human Biomechanics, Behavioural Sciences, Research Methods and Statistics.

A minimum score of 90 is required in the Internet based TOEFL (iBT) with no less than 21 in writing and at least 19 in every other section. DET score of 120 is required with at least 110 in each subscore.
