Overall 80% in Grade 12 from CBSE, ISC or State Board. 85% in Maths and 80% in Laboratory Science is required. Laboratory science subject must include one of Chemistry, Physics or Biology.

Engineering students follow a common first year. A minimum score of 90 is required in the Internet based TOEFL (iBT) with no less than 21 in writing and at least 19 in every other section. DET score of 120 is required with at least 110 in each subscore. The Structural Engineering with Architecture course is structured as a 3+2 programme, with a 3-year undergraduate BSc programme, followed by a 2-year taught graduate ME programme. Students who do not wish to progress onto the Master of Engineering (Structural Engineering with Architecture) pathway, or who do not qualify for progression, at the end of Stage 3 can exit their studies at the end of Stage 3 with a BSc (Engineering Science) degree.
