Applicants must have passed Grade 12 with a minimum score of 50% or higher, or equivalent. Applicants must also meet the program-specific requirements, including: Maths with minimum 50%. Senior Level First Language Literature with 50% required.

After completing this program with a minimum average of 70% in both theory and practical, student will get opportunity to attain a minimum of 100 hours in employed hairstyling experience; and gain employment in a salon within 2 years of graduating.
